I was wondering if this would be an appropriate question to ask here, but since Eric covered a bit of pricing advice on ETCG1, I think there may be some people interested in this.

The way customers are searching for information is changing, as most customers now start their searches for products online.

Well there is quite a few ways, online as you have already listed. However, there are other options too such as mailing out advertisements or even a commercial on a local radio station to your area.

It will depend on your budget too that you have set aside for advertising. Definitely state your automotive certifications so people know you are qualified to work on there vehicles as well as well as a mention that you have the specialist equipment to help aid is diagnostics.

Hope this is a starting point for you.

T[/url]here are other site a lil better

          +1 to dreamer…

          News papers!!!
Bumper stickers.(you could make these your self)
Make you own flyers in photo shop..

The number one thing YOU want to do is…. Get ppl talking good about you and fast.
There are alote of things you can do to get ppl talking….

I offer -Police – military – fire department – ext- Discounts on there personal autos.

I do my stuff a little different then others….

I price by the job not the hour…. Most water pumps I charge 35$. Head gaskets 150$^ – oil changes I took 10$.

Everyone says im to low on my stuff but come on… Its just bolts and nuts.
A oil change is just on bolt a filter and you know…..

But the downside is.(They buy there parts i dont make a thing on them) But its good for them bc they get to choice how much they spend!!!

I dont go by what the book says… This hurts me alote but save the owener money and makes them come back more- so in the end I win.
