I have 2000 Buick regal clunks on acceleration but not every time. Sounds like passenger side front.

I know sometimes its the struts, control arm bushings etc and not the mount…

Are there any tips to check the mounts? Jack up car? Put in neutral hit gas? etc

      Thanks

the regal has different mounts than that..

i believe those are mounts for a H body car, the Regal is a W body.

          Transmission

          engine

typically when the engine mount is bad it is on the front right below the oil pan, you will see a lot of torn rubber, and a bunch of built up fluids, its right below the oil pan right below the harmontic balancer, i am willing to put money on the fact it needs replaced with as old as the car is and if you have over 150,000-200,000 miles they start to go bad, replaced one on my Buick Regal and it was dicintigrated, literally falling apart, and it was only two years older than yours.
