How do I pop the pins out of this connector?

I need to check the solder joints on the pins of the connector below. How do you actually pop the pins out? That blue part looks removable, but I don’t want to dive in without knowing how it’s all supposed to come apart.

You don’t have to remove them to check them. You can ohm the
wire to pin connector for continuity.

So ideally I really need that weird tool to pop them out?

Not really, just makes it quite a bit easier. T-pins, paperclips, etc will work, just takes a bit more finesse.

As I recall, I’m nearly certain pep-boys actually had one of these versions in an isle here locally a few years back (last time I was in one).

As pointed out you can ohm the connections to see if they’re good. If you need to remove the pins, remove the blue part (which is a lock) and then there are likely clips you need to push in order to remove the pins.
