Within the past few weeks, I’d mentioned that my 94 Civic had a high idle (i.e. 900 rpm) after I adjusted the ignition timing. Intitally, the ignition timing was way off; but the car had idled at a lower RPM before the adjustment. It was then suggested to me by Eric to check the timing belt alignment; but I can’t seem to find any resources or examples as of how to do that.
So simply put, what are the steps in checking the timing belt alignment? How is it done?
Thank You.
