How can I extend a trailer tongue or truck hitch

Hey my work truck is a 3500 GMC with a dump body. We recently got a new box trailer and neglected to get a longer tongue for it as towing it currently is rather dangerous. Do any of you know if there is a product that may extend the ball Hitch and / or the tongue so that there is less of a chance to hit the back of the truck off of he new trailer. I would recommend talking with a company that specializes in installing tow hitches to see what your options are. If this is not done correctly you could cause a really dangerous condition that could cause loss of life or property damage.

Look at these, be mindful of the weight limitations. I think if you are using this as a contractor/industrial duty rig, having a fabricator lengthen the trailer tongue would be a better plan. May not be as costly in the long run and ad to the functionality of your trailer.
