            Its good, great compression values. Remove that thermostat and start the engine without thermostat and watch that temp gauge again. If its normal w/o thermostat , then you find the problem. so yes its true. When you push to gas pedal, engine creating comp

              If your seeing coolant in on the pistons or plugs. then do the_x000D_
              block test to see if gases are in the coolant.

                  are you sure about coolant in all cylinders? and engine still runing when its cold. I guess its not coolant, must be fuel,

                    Yes it is coolant in the cylinders, not fuel, when I get a Q tip soaked with the fluid it will not light or burn with a lighter. I didn’t do anything with the

                        sounds as if the HG might be blown,,but on this k-23 engine its uncommon..if the thermo was bad the engine light would come on pointing in that direction….i would recommend a compression and leakdown test b4 pulling the head,,,you should see white smoke

                                It’s impossible to diagnose a warped head that way, you would have to remove the head and check it with a straight edge and feeler gauge to see if it’s warped out of spec.

                                    I’ve seen some pretty scored up cam journals and they worked just fine.
