      Hi all, i understand that Gates makes the timing belts for Honda corp. Would those belts be of a higher quality than say a Gates timing belt bought at the local parts store? Thanks Jim.

        I believe Gates are Gates. The NAPA store sells Gates as their premium brand. I did purchase a timing belt kit on-line and am thinking it was a knock off.
