Hi all
last week on a very cold day -30 C my Honda prelude decided not to start.I tried and tried with no results ,it cranks but no start first I check the fuses all good, next the fuel pump good so now under the hood external fuses ok, icu ok changed the rotor and cap it needed to be change, now the relays ignition switch all good ,immobilizer system good ,main relay good, starting relay good. The only thing I could see would be a fuel system problem the injector have no power but the pump is OK I did a main relay test relay works fine. This year as been very cold in the great white North (Canada)I know Honda as a reputation for not starting in the cold (main relay )but all the testing was good Ho ya I also check the coil and all the connection to the distributor are all good ….My question is would anyone Know how to test the ECU. tomorrow I will be working on the fuel system and see if the gas lines are frozen wish me luck. please help
Thanks
Robert
