A shout out to college man for posting the video links ; much appreciated and more importantly very explicit how to’s. Upon review , I’ve decided this
procedure is just too complicated for my meager skill level , but thanks for saving me the trouble of getting 1/2 into the job b/4 realizing it’s too much.
Many thanks, Jim HUnfortunately those videos may not do you much good. I believe the best way to perform that procedure is to drop the subframe. For that you’ll need a brace to hold the engine and transmission in place. This video would be a more accurate representation of what you’re likely up against.

The only way to do it IS to drop the subframe. It’s really not a matter of skill, but a matter of will. And time.
By chance does anyone have a tool list required for this replacement? Ill watch the videos again with my pen and paper but a list at the beginning would be a helpful addition. AAA auto does that at the beginning of their videos and it has helped me out a ton. That way I know which tools I can convince my wife to let me buy…
