Hi All! I am trying to program a new chip key for my 2005 Honda Pilot. I have a new key fob, had it cut at the dealer and now I am trying to program it using a CK-100 Key Programming tool. The problem is when I go to program the new key, a few steps into the process, the Key Programming machine says “ECU not found!”.

I have unhooked and revoked the battery and pulled the ECU fuse (left out for 15 mins, put it back in then turned on the car and let idle for 15 mins, then turned off and on again). The fuse looked good, not busted, but now I am stuck with what to do next.

      Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Might be an issue with your programming tool comparability with your vehicle.

Possible. It connects fine, goes through the compatibility menus without any problem, just gets hung up when I start the “turn on, turn off” routine.
