Hi. Eric the Car Guy.
I’m writing this because of worries. I had a 2010 Honda Crv lx which I bought it brand new 7 years ago. I change my oil on time every 2500 to 3000k miles myself. 2 months ago I noticed minimal moisture leak on the valve cover washer seal then I replaced it with a new one also replaced the PCV valve. Then, after observation for a month with new oil, it’s still burning oil every 1000k miles I added 100ml of oil. My car has already 138,000 miles in mileage. I checked my engine weekly with leaks but there is no oil leak. Should I be concerned of replacing valve stem seal or piston ring problem in the future. I don’t wanna shell out thousands of money for this. Next week I will be going to reputable shop to final inspect of leaks. I hope to help me with honest opinion. Thank you and more power to your site.Andy
