I have a 2005 Honda CR-V EX that was manufactured in Great Britain (I know this because the VIN begins with an S) and it has the elusive 5 speed manual transmission. I recently had removed the clutch pedal from the car in an effort to address a squeaky issue that was happening when I depressed the clutch pedal. I grease the springs inside the pedal assembly and now it’s quiet. However, when I went to reinstalled in the car, I think I may have gotten the pedal adjustment slightly off and I wanted to know if you or anybody else on here might have any idea as to how much travel play the pedal should have? Initial initially before I removed it it did have some play and then when I put it back and now has none. As best I can tell, it’s not creating any issues, but I don’t want to wear out my clutch prematurely so to speak. Please let me know how to address this issue
