Hey guys, I replaced an alternator on a 2008 civic coupe ex yesterday. The nav system now will not power on. All fuses in the car are great, but the power audio amp fuse under the hood was blown. I replaced it. Is there a fuse in the back of the head unit?
Also, there are no videos on how to reset this after power to it is restored. The videos I found are for the standard radio, not the premium nav setup. The car runs and charges great now, but the car owner is very keen on having tunes asap. Please help!

College man, that does tell me what I need on that Honda, after I get the unit to power on again.
The only fuse I found burned was the underhood fuse for audio amp. All fuses in the interior fuse block are good. It worked great before I change the alternator but now it won’t even power on.
Do you know if the head unit has a separate fuse in the back?

you could pull the radio out and check the if someone put a fuse behind it…. also check relays too might be a bad one… when you pull the radio out check the connector and see if your getting power at it… should be a constent line and a acc line need to check both

From what I can tell there is no fuse in the back of the unit.

                Problem solved!
                It was an odd one.
The owner told me today that the electric windows and sunroof are also not working. The fuses for the windows and radio were again, just fine.
The fuse for the backup light was blown. I replaced that and all is well again! I’ve seen odd stuff, but this threw me for a loop.

Thanks college man. Rob, I don’t know, but the fuse was labeled as the backup light.

I just verified that this car does not have a back up camera at all, so the fuse was for the reverse light and it being out did indeed cause the nav system to stay off.
