      Hello

I have Honda civic 1994 dx
      automatic
      1.5L D15B7 ENGINE

When I start the car for example in the morning (engine cold) everything is perfect and the rpm gauge is on 1 exactly (1000 rpm) and the car is not shaking.
But when the car got to the ideal temperature and for example I stop in red light or stand with the car in neutral or parking mode the rpm is at 200 RPM also if I shift to drive mode unless I press the gas the rpm is 200 RPM and the car is shaking hard. (I REMIND THAT ALL THIS HAPPEN ONLY WHEN THE ENGINE GOT TO HIS TEMPERTURE OPORATION).

I checked my car in a computer and everything is ok.
Appreciate if you can give me some advice about this situation.

      Thank you

Your base idle is to low or your IAC is not working.

What is the meaning of base idle is to low ? where is it? do you mean the screw rpm adjust?

IACV don’t send any code error so its should be working ok am I right?

          Thank you

Here is the procedure for base idle. Before you make an adjustment does the car idle up if
you turn on the ac? The IAC may not be working correct or is dirty and may not set a code.
Is your throttle body clean and the Iac passages and IAC area? I would make sure these
two are clean before checking base idle.

I don’t know if I’d go the iacv route just yet; they’re very costly – at least it was on my ’93 accord – and it didn’t even fix my problem, which was similar to yours.
First check for vacuum leaks in line AFTER the fast idle valve.
After replacing so many items on my accord to nail down the idle issue, it ended up being a faulty intake manifold gasket….

Before I try to clean my IACV is there a chance I have low RPM because kickdown cable adjustment?
Maybe I need just to adjust?

                    Thank you
