honda accord v6 2002 transmission problem

Hello my transmission gives blows only when it is not to heat, once it is to heat all is very well the change of report are done in softnesses. Oils has transmission it’s ATF-Z1.what the problem ?

Your wording is a liitle tricky. But be aware that generation of Accord with the V6 is known for transmission problems. Do you have a check engine light ? If so, provide the code. Use only Honda brand trans. fluid otherwise shifting problems will occur. Also check the fluid level after engine is at operating temperature, then turn-off engine, in park position, and then within 90 seconds on a level surface check fluid level. Hope this helps.

I agree, those were problem transmissions. Start with any check engine lights you might have. To be honest if you have transmission codes it’s likely you’ll need to replace it but it depends on what they are. Also make sure you’re not checking the fluid level with the engine running as this is a big no no, check the fluid after the engine gets hot but turned OFF.

From what I understand of your question, are you saying it runs rough when cold? And then it shifts better once it’s hot? Do you live in a colder climate? It’s 20degrees where I am.
