The other day my car was idling very poorly at a stop sign (the car felt it was going to stall). When I step on the gas there was some hesitation but then it was fine after that. There was a CEL. The next day I went to purchase an OBD-II reader and it did not read any codes and the car is running fine? However, I notice the short term fuel trim was quite high.

      SHRTFT1 AND SHRTFT2 are ~7.2-10%
      LHRTFT1 AND LHRTFT2 are ~2.7-3%

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Those trims are acceptable. Keep the scanner in the car so you’re ready the next time you throw a code.
