Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Erik. I’m not new to the forum (though I never really posted much more than an introduction and a couple posts previously on an old account I long since lost the email and password to), or Eric’s videos. In fact it was well over 3 years ago one night during a desperate search for a new career path that I came upon his videos on YouTube which inspired me to get into this field. Since that time I’ve graduated with honors at the top of my class, with associate’s degrees in Automotive and Diesel Truck repair, and work at a shop that does both.
For a while I had been going through a rough patch in life and slacked off on watching anything related to this work on YouTube, previously names like EricTheCarGuy and ScannerDanner were what I spent pretty much every evening watching. Recently I’ve been kicking it back in gear and found Eric “signing off.” That was a sad moment.
Eric has been an inspiration to me and one of the reasons I became a mechanic/technician, a title I am proud to hold, was through watching his videos.
With that said, I’d like to say hello to the community and to wish Eric the best with whatever endeavors he attempts. And, as always,
