Hello from over the pond in Manchester England I am a retired black cab driver of 27 yrs which I used to maintain myself after they ran out of warranty and my own cars but these days they are all getting more and more complicated by all the computerised stuff and eco friendly stuff but it’s also getting unbelievably expensive to have them professionally repaired so it’s a case of doing as much as you can yourself my last trip to a repairer cost me £2100 so it’s DIY as much as I can .
I’m amazed at the mileages you put on your private cars over there the only vehicles that do those miles over here are commercials and black cabs u
