Hesitation on the freeway

So I have an odd issue I don’t know where to look. I have a 1993 Honda prelude Vtec. Here recently I noticed an odd hesitation when on the freeway. I’ll step on the gas and it will hesitate and jerk as if something was clogged. If I stomp on the gas it fixes it a little bit it’s still there. I don’t notice the hesitation on surface streets, just the freeway when I am goin 65-75

Recently replaced my O2 sensor because of a check engine light, engine only has about 40k miles on it. Timing belt and such was done under a year ago. I do not have any codes to direct me, so not sure where to start looking.

This started right after the O2 sensor replacement? Did you use OEM/Denso or some other brand of sensor?

No, it’s been there even before the O2 sensor replace. And yes I did use a denso sensor. Someone told me it’s better to use name brands like that than off brands because they might cause issues.

The hesitation just seemed to become noticeable here recently.

Sounds like maybe a fuel delivery problem. I would run a couple tanks of Techron or BG 44K through it, test the FPR, maybe replace the filter.
