Looking over the procedure, it looks like there are MANY critical and non-obvious steps to follow! You may need special tool J4834-6234-Tuesday-3434-shoe size 8 3/4-67234523546. The chain has to be exactly the right version, facing the right way, and it has to be positioned with the slack between the right sprockets, and the tensioner needs a lot of care and TLC too. The fasteners have very specific sealer and non-sealant requirements and it varies from screw to screw. They don’t write it up in this kind of detail just for fun. Read over the procedure a few times and if you can’t understand or are not willing to follow it to the letter, better let someone else assume the responsibility for not trashing the engine.

Here are the step by steps

This job looks harder than it really is, but it does require extreme attention to detail.
I have worked on tons of the Quad4 style GM engines, they can be a royal nightmare to repair so go slow and take your time and double and triple check everything.
