Hello, my 2002 Toyota 4 runner has two wires that run off the positive battery terminal. One is large and runs to the main part of the positive terminal, and the other is a smaller wire that goes to a side branch portion of the positive battery terminal. The terminal is rusted and I need to replace it. Can’t seem to find a positive battery terminal with a side branch for the smaller wire. Can I just twist the two wires together and place it in the universal battery terminal?

Yes, you can do that, but I’ve always been able to find replacement terminals with a secondary connector at the auto parts store. You can also get the part # from the Toyota parts website and then get a reasonably priced replacement via eBay or Amazon. Whatever’s easiest.
