Hey everyone,
Does anyone know of any additional study materials or guides for the A2 Auto Trans and L1 Advanced Engine Performance tests? I’ve taken both twice and have gotten close but not close enough. I have been using the Motor Age and Delmar study guides but I have felt that they are lacking information (Both study guides are 90 pages, the A4 and A5 books are about 120 pgs.) Any help would be appreciated.

delmar has a good online guide for the L1…its the only study guide I used, mostly to learn about 5 gases since I ve never had any previous experience with them or needing to know about them before.
I dont think the L1 is really something you can study for though…But the delmar online has some practice test you can take also.
That’s what I used last time around. I agree the L1 is something that’s hard to study especially with the fact it’s diagrams and scan tool readings. It just seems like their should be more to the guides imo, but maybe that’s just me. The other thing was in the practice tests I was scoring in the 80 – 90 percent range so idk.
