Could be a number of things but the easiest to check is the belt, pulleys, and tensioner. Spray the belt and pulleys down with either water or belt lube to see if that makes it go away, and also make sure the belt tensioner isn’t loose.

As I can see, when you put your transmission on D, your car start to make noise. So, you first need to verify the transmission oil level when your engine It’s hot is normal at hot on the dip stick. You might need also to be sure It’s not the noise of a dirty automatic transmission, you might need to change the oil and oil transmission filter (some car have no oil transmission filter. You need to see car parts or buy a e-manual). Your transmission sound really good by the way. You shift well and you car go straight ahead. You might need to check as well the water pump belt If It’s good to go too.

why is your cruise control set? sounds like a
          pulley/tensioner.remove either the serpentine
belt or belts.see if the noise goes away.

I always leave my cruise control on … just so its ready when I am ready to use it … I had all the pulleys checked .. one was going bad .. had it replaced … replaced all the belts and the water pump and had the transmission and radiator flushed yesterday … its still doing it i know this sounds stupid but you know when you shift between gears and the engine moves … thats when it makes the noise .. when the engine is closest to the fire wall … i had it in park and my boyfriend pushed the engine back towards the firewall and the noise started again … he pulled it towards the the front bumper and it stops … it has been doing it for over a year now … really only seems to do in when its cold out … also has a bit of a rough idle sometimes

might be the harmonic balencer, or crankshaft pully, what ever you want to call it. look at the pully that is supplying power to all the other pullys and see if the rubber inside the pully is coming out. if it is the pully is working its way out and not aligning with the others.

What about doing a leak test to know if you don’t have a leak in your cylinders.

Can you get a sound clip of the noise in the engine bay? It still sounds like a belt, tensioner, pulley issue.

It’s very difficult to tell from the video what the noise is. You might be able to use the information in the ‘Finding Noises Video’ that was posted above. If you suspect a belt or something the belt drives you can remove that belt, start the engine, and listen for the noise. If the noise is gone then it may be the belt or something the belt drives thats’ causing the noise. You can also use the video that was posted about Belts and Pulleys to help you find an issue there. Lastly don’t rule out exhaust shields. They can be the source of many noises when they rust and become loose. Good luck, keep us posted.
