Hi Guys just introduce myself ? and would like to jump straight to a Question …
I need Help please i had to changed my Rear Wheel Bearings on the Citi.com Golf Every month,
What am i doing Wrong?
This is what i have Done:
New SKF Bearings and new Seals, Greased Properly
Changed The Drum’s and Inner Race (Not need for Pressed Fit)
Greased in between were the Race fit (But not over Greased)
Changed Stub Axle (twice)
Went to do Alignment front and Back (Twice)
They Also mentioned the Axle is not Bend
Rotate the Tyre front to back….

Please assist i am Tired of Paying Mechanics /Workshops to Change Wheel bearings every Month

Yeah they should last longer than a month.

So mechanics are replacing the bearings? If so – is it a reputable shop or is it “some guy” who works on cars out of his garage?

Is it possible someone is using the wrong type of grease? With a heavy duty lubricating job like that, a person cannot use just any grease that is laying around. Needs to be specific for wheel bearings.

Take it to a different shop. Whoever is doing the work now is wheel bearing challenged.
