Hey guys,
My name is Matthew and this is my second forum to join. I currently live up North in Ottawa, Ontario(the capital of Canada) and I’m enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering program. I’ve loved cars since the womb and I love working on anything mechanical. I try to take every opportunity to learn more and expand my knowledge of the automotive world. I started working on cars with my brother when we were around 12 years old and seem to have been addicted ever since. So far I’ve been exposed mostly to Japanese cars but love and respect all kinds of cars.
I currently co-own a 1999 Civic Si with a substantial amount of upgrades, a 1997 Subaru Legacy Brighton Wagon, and a homemade racing kart with my brother.
My code when upgrading the civic is to make subtle but significant changes. In other words, stealthy mods that will not attract any unwanted attention. ZERO RICE TOLERANCE!!
With my recently purchased Subaru, I try to stay OEM. Very similar to what Eric did with his.
The Kart is just a small cheap side project that we take to the track and race on occasions.
I can post pics of the cars if anyone would like.
I’m looking forward to learning from this knowledgeable forum and meeting many of you.
Cheers.
