Hello to all.
I was born and raised in Northern New Jersey. High school grad, class of ’01. Right after graduation, I enlisted into the US Navy. I served from Aug’01-Dec’08 as a helicopter mechanic working on the H-60 Seahawk helicopter.
Meet my wife while in the final years of my Navy tour, and ended up moving to her home state of Arizona. My wife, 6 yr old son, and I now live in the far west valley of Phoenix, AZ. I worked at an FAA repair station for a year, but now am a fulltime stay-at-home dad.
I plan to finish/return to school and get my B.S. Professional Aeronautics and my A&P license.
As for my cars, I drive a 2000 Honda Civic EX. The little lady drives an ’03 Hyundai Santa Fe. In the garage, I have her old 2001 Ford Escort. I have the engine and tranny out and torn down due to the valve seat issue these engine had for that year. Sadly, the valve seat popped out and entered the #4 cyclinder. The rest, well you can figure out what happened after that. Now I plan on rebuilding it and adding mods, port and polishing, and all sorts of other things to make it a fun car again. She has her attatchments to that car and won’t let go of it.
As for my dream car, I wish I could find my first ever Honda car that I ever owned. A 1989 Honda Prelude Si 4WS. I’ve never seen or fell in love with a more beautiful car. I don’t know how, but I will try and find a way to see if I can locate any records that shows the vin of that car and track it down, praying its not a parts queen at a junk yard in SoCal. :sick:
