Greetings from soggy Southeast Alaska. I am a journeyman telecom technician by trade but an amateur mechanic in my spare time. I keep my own vehicles running and have an ongoing habit of making cars useful again. I’ve been learning more and more with each “project” I undertake. I used to just do basic maintenance but now I’ve been known to pull apart axles, change my own clutches and even replace head gaskets. The more I do myself, the more I find myself seeking out advice from other like-minded people.
