Is there enough of it to get it round again and at least get a hose/hose clamp around it enough to tighten?
There are junkyard ways of doing it if you don’t care about the firewall… I.E. Drilling and carefully cutting a hole in the firewall to gain extra space for the hose/clamp, but this may not work well in all applications….
If the tubing (nipple) broke off at the soldered joint between the heater core and the tubing you may have to replace the whole thing….
I have seen knackered up tubes that were leaking that I got round again and managed to get a worm hose clamp to hold where a wire clamp would not….
You may have a few options….

October 31, 2013 at 11:46 pm #558688lol . .. can you define broken. Really though, is it broken, or is it REALLY broken, there are all degrees of messed up, depends some on how bad yours is. For the most part though, I’m gonna say if it is bad enough for you to post here to ask about it, you probably need to go ahead and change it. I am preparing to do exactly this same job on my car, and am not looking forward to it a bit.
October 31, 2013 at 11:52 pm #558690Thanks for the reply guys. I fixed the problem and I have heat again! There was a rubber grommet I was able to remove and that gave me just enough room to get the hose clamped down to it. Thanks for the reply college man, and ToyotaKarl
November 1, 2013 at 12:36 am #558696Please seal up the hole again with like some big globs of silicone sealer. Engines don’t leak as much noxious gases as in years of yore, but it’s still best to keep that stuff out of the car.
