      Just acquired a 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander for my wife great looking and running SUV but the heater controls are loose in the dash . does anyone know
      what holds them in .. There are two holes just under them but what type of fastener is used …And doe anyone know where I might download a PDF service manual ???? Thank

            All the screws in the dash are Phillips head, and all the bolts are 10mm hex head. I don’t remember if the controls screw into the back of the bezel or clip in, but you’ll have to pull it out to see what’s broken anyway. The center dash needs plastic trim prying tools to get apart. I don’t remember if you can just rip that bezel off or if there are screws that hold it on the top or bottom that need to be removed first.

            Also watch out for a rusty subframe on them. We’ve been seeing a lot of those lately. There is a warranty extension for 2007 only on that that you will want to take advantage of if necessary. We have a guy who does them goof and we have many customers that come from western Mass, but you being by the coast makes it a 5 hour drive to our place. I’m sure there is another mitsu dealer much closer to you.
