hauling cars with 2004 f150 heritige 4.2 manual trans

HI guys,

I have a 2004 f150 heritige short bed standard cab manual trans 4.2 liter and I’m looking to get a car trailer and haul small cars from my old house to my new one. Only one car is full weight, the rest either have no drivetrain or even less so they’re not very heavy. I’ve never hauled anything or driven with a trailer so I’m wondering if i NEED more truck, or if i can safely get by with what I’ve got. Truck is also lowered so I’m assuming that’s working against me.

I’ve been doing some research and the towing numbers seem to be inconsistent and confusing, so I’m hoping some of you guys have some good advice for me. The truck does have a tow package on it and the guy I bought it from has hauled with it before, but that doesn’t mean he should have. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance !
