harmonic balancer?

I have a 350 Silverado and the belt has been squealing on it for quite a while. i’ve replaced many parts and it nothing helped. Anyways today, i was inspecting everything a little closer and i noticed that the crank pulley has some wobble to it. Could this be the problem? Any help is appreciated

It is a problem, it shouldn’t wobble. Let it get worse and it will throw the belt or the outer rim will come off. Cause of the squealing? – dunno.

Yes it could. As pointed out in the articles above, the rubber in the balancer can go bad and cause a noise similar to what you describe. The balancer shouldn’t wobble while the engine is running. If it does, it could mean bent parts OR a balancer problem.
