      Hi i have a Accord type r 2,2l 156 kW manual.
Problem: In the cold mornings than i try to start the car it chokes and doesn’t start. If i pushing gas pedal constantly the car chokes and chokes till it starts. After that i could shut it down and than the car starts with no problem. Than morning is not that cold i can start the car normally.
I did a bit of research and find out that it could be engine coolant temperature sensor. What do you think guys what could it be? Is it possible that temperature sensor could be a problem? If yes how can i check it? Other idea i have it could be a vacuum leak. So what can you suggest to search for and how?

Unfortunately, you haven’t given us anything to rule out the many things that could be causing your cranking no start.

To fix this yourself, you’ll need to become comfortable with diagnosis. Here’s a video that shows how to get started:

60% chance on a bad temperature sensor, but you should take the correct diagnosing route to get there.
