Greetings People !
My name is Andrew and I am from Denver, Colorado.
I have been enjoying Eric’s videos very much. Always new things to learn ! Eric’s tips and tricks and time savers are out of this world useful ! My days of being a tech go back to points and carburetors. Service stations, uniforms, ect. Even though times change, my preference of what I work on and own doesn’t. Not to say I don’t have experience with FWD foreign cars, I surely do, but prefer the old ones. The ONLY motor I have ever completely destroyed, and the damage looked similar to the white Civic carnage Eric showed us, was an early B motor in a 4WS steering Prelude SI (remember those anybody???). Dirty oil from previous owner neglect caused a piston skirt to collapse at about 3700 rpms throwing a rod/pin right through a cylinder wall. Interestingly enough, it was full of clean fresh oil and if you ever seen 5 quarts of oil thrown on to a hot exhaust manifold while driving at about 85mph, it screams BAIL!!! Anyway, I look forward to chatting with others on here…
