Hi Guys, And a Happy, Holy Christmas to you and your family!

Guestion: I have for years, when testing to see if an Alternator is working removed the Negative Battery Clamp while the engine is running~if the engine continued to run the Alternator or Generator was working.

I person has said regarding this practice: There is a good chance, removing the ground cable from the battery with the engine running you will fry the ECM

What’s your thought and experience about the above? Have you done this? Do you think or have you seen this to be true?

      Thank you

      Richard
