I am disappointed to hear that the hangout every other Wednesday on Google+ is going to be ending. I enjoyed the hangouts and learned alot, plus always got a kick out of Eric’s side comments, hats, stuffed animals in the background etc. The podcast will be interesting but not sure it will have any video-aren’t they audio only? I’m curious as to how others feel about this. Anyway thanks Eric for all you do-great stuff, educational and interesting!

Perhaps you missed the memo. The Google+ hang outs will NOT be ending. The podcast fell through. I’ll be doing Google+ for a while to come yet. This was listed in last months newsletter as well as last nights Hang out.
Whoops-sorry Eric. I had watched the last hangout and I guess I misunderstood what you said. Glad to hear you will still be doing it. What caused you to consider stopping it?
I had an offer to do a weekly podcast where I would be answering peoples automotive questions. It seemed redundant to have a biweekly video show where I did the same thing. Therefore I had decided to discontinue to Google+ hang outs and go with the weekly podcast. The weekly podcast didn’t pan out and now I’ll be doing the live shows as I have been for the foreseeable future.
There may be a way to take your biweekly video and convert it into a podcast. It could be a way to reach folks who want to listen and prefer that format over the Google+ or Youtube format. Your web guy would probably know more. Anyway thanks again-your videos saved my rump more than once when fixing cars! I appreciate all you do!
