I am sad about it but I’m looking forward to the future. What are your thoughts?

I have a Subaru story for you, Eric, and it has a manual transmission.

I already told the story of how, after owning an anemic Subaru WRX for 40K miles, I discovered a loose clamp on the intake and the engine came alive. It is now a very different car.

My wife and I attend church in another town 30 miles away. One Sunday morning on the way to church, driving the Subaru, we hit the one traffic signal between the two cities. It sees us coming and turns red.

The light changed to green and there was this huge noise. I floored it figuring there was a accident or something bad happening behind us. The speed limit there is 55 so as soon as I lifted this Camaro goes blasting by – the source of the noise. So, we were racing without us even knowing it and I pulled him until I let off the gas. Pretty funny.

Anyway, as I was doing this I felt a vibration in the car. I spent the next couple of weeks trying to think of what would cause this. On another Sunday and stuck at the same light I looked at the road and saw that the asphalt was beginning to washboard due to all the vehicles accelerating in that same place.
