Hello. My name is Tom, I’m 44, and have been working on cars since I was about 15. I’ve tackled everything from engine swaps to clutch jobs. Brakes, suspension, steering, electrical. There isn’t a whole lot that I won’t try on a car.

When I first started working on cars, there was no internet. If you couldn’t find the information you needed in a repair manual, you had to rely on friends that knew more than you did. I was fortunate to have a buddy that worked in a garage. One way or another, he either had the know how himself, or could ask one of the older guys at the shop.

Now, we have the internet, and Eric. He is that buddy that works in the garage for all of us here 🙂
