right now im going to like a seperat high school where i can learn for half a day about automotive, before i jumped into this class iv never touched a car but now i want to carry on to become a technition. the college i have an oppertunity to get into has either a standard automotive class and a toyota T ten class where you can specialize in toyota and get a job at a dealership…im honestly not sure which to take because while knowing that i will get a job sounds good i dont want to be held down….i was hoping to get some feedback from someone who has possibly been in the same position or has some experiance with dealerships and such. thank you for your time.

I think one of the main things people will need to know is does the Toyota course still cover everything in the standard automotive course or is it tailored to Toyota cars only.

If the Toyota course offers you the standard course with Toyota specialised input then you would be best choosing that as you will get both in one.

If it does not though i would (in my opinion) choose the standard course to get a basis on all types of vehicles. I presume you are young so you have your whole life ahead of you to consider.

Some questions to ask your self before you choose.

Will you stick to one dealership your entire life?
Do you want your own garage or is it something you would consider?
Which course will you get more information and knowledge out of?

Whatever you do should be because you love it. Not because you might get a specific job. If your regular job doesn’t do it for you then work on the things that matter to you the other 16 hours of the day. If you have skills and a good work ethic your future is assured.
