I just watched the “Why Mechanics Drive Junk Cars” video and the question that popped in my head was, “Where do you get parts for those old cars?” like your ’74….
As my Chevy got older and older, parts became harder to find and the choices were reduced, meaning there were less options.
At least for my car, the sweet spot was between 10 and 15 years old: there were plenty of options for parts.
I saw the “Hoarding Old Parts” video but hoarding is not option for me, especially when I have no idea what my next car is going to be.
I would think it would be a great ETCG video on sourcing parts for those old junks, what brands and models are better for keeping alive for a long time and any hints and tricks you may have.
Thank you and your channels are my favorites on YouTube.
