It’s kind of funny, but also kind of sad that none of those sites have repair manuals for Seat cars. And when I do find manuals for the right make elsewhere, they’re never for the right model and year.
February 17, 2013 at 1:09 am #500942The first tough I had It’s Seat was not a car brand. But a 4 minutes search on the web. I found you Seat car repair manual.

February 17, 2013 at 1:13 am #500944February 17, 2013 at 1:14 am #500945The only one there for my car, a 1998 Seat Toledo, was in French, and for the diesel versions 🙂
If I recall correctly, Volkswagen, who own Seat, have removed my particular model from their own database, called Elsawin, so I can’t even get the data there. It’s okay though, I’ve already given up on finding one.edit: that second link looks like it might be something. I’ll look into it, thanks.
edit2: they don’t really look like a legitimate operator, has anyone bought from them in the past?

Edit: for the record, I’ve found several manuals for my car, it’s just that they’re all in Russian or Polish.

March 13, 2013 at 9:50 am #506740I found both of my factory service manuals on Ebay for $27.00 bucks. The factory wanted to charge me $200.00 bucks for them lol. One covers the whole vehicle, and the other electrical Over 3000 pages!. I also have an online membership for a year at Chilton, and the Haynes book manual.
Nothing tops factory service manuals. I didn’t even think of getting the factory service manuals until I saw Eric’s video comparing them to the aftermarket, and let me tell you. It is night, and day. Thanks Eric for that!
March 20, 2013 at 11:52 pm #508445Yes, Ebay is a good place to buy digital and paper manual too. But, you need to wait couple days before you get It. I prefer online solution for instant information after the transaction. Ebay is also good to find the unfindable manual.
April 20, 2013 at 6:22 pm #514268Although at one time I was a Haynes fan, these days I’m using AlldataDIY. Mitchell is said to be as good. You don’t get the updated technical service bulletins from a paper manual, although there is something to be said for old fashioned paper. Dealer manuals are clearly better, though I find them very expensive from the dealer. A pirated ebay copy of the dealers manual sounds appealing, though quality will be hit and miss, and you may not get updated TSBs.

It’s ok. The only information they give you is “In Soviet Russia, car drives you!”
