I have two today…

1. Guy complains that changing his headlight is too hard, car has like 114K on it. Well out of warranty, complains so much about how he and the expert at AZone couldn’t do it that Subaru actually warrantied it for him. Got paid 0.3 instead of 0.5 thanks to that.

2. Lady wants her cabin filter done. Drops the car off, locked the glove box and left me the valet key. Was very pissed that she had to drive 45 minutes back to give me the correct key.

I love it when i cannot locate the tool for the locking lug nuts when servicing a customer vehicle.

Then you ask the customer on where you can locate it and usually the reply is “what is that?” or “i had no idea that i had them on the car”..

Ugh…Talk about wasting time.

Have a few friends who go out to pick-your-part salvage yards and when they’re hunting through cars they keep an eye out for those. Got a small collection of them going that comes in handy for times like that. Might be worth looking into.
