I take it no engine light? It could be fuel related.
You may want to check fuel pressure. Did it drive right
        the rest of the day?

If it’s not throwing a code (check engine light not on) then I’d do the easy stuff first. Run some “dry gas” (discount auto parts store has the stuff) to see if water (moisture) causing a problem. Usually that would make it harder to start. If fuel filter not replaced recently, probably do that. Check though Eric’s troubleshooting ideas. I am not got to follow this advice but it really is best to try the cheap and easy fixes first before throwing money at it. If you have a friend that is a pro mechanic, maybe ask them especially if you can get the vehicle to act up when they are around. Others will post more details for you. Good luck.

If the pump is not supplying the correct pressure/volume it
can cause drive ability issues sag and hesitation stalling

I’d still go with replacing fuel filter and adding gas dry first. It could be the pump but does not hurt to do the cheap stuff first. And if fuel filter not changed in long time it’s just good maintenance anyway.

Simple things first. Make, Model, Year, Engine size, transmission type. Secondly, why do you suspect gas? Did you go to a no name gas station recently? What brands of gas do you normally use and what octane? Do you ever use a fuel system cleaner?

91 ford explorer 4.0 v6 and type of gas is regular and why I this it is gas because I have never changed the pump just the filter that’s the only thing I changed on it so far and I don’t know if the last owner changed and if so when they did and it has a new tune up not do to long ago and that’s why I think its the something to do with the fuel system
