What do you where when working on cars?
I see a lot of people wearing jeans, but Zippers and rivets are pretty hard on the paint job.

The shop I work for provides uniforms and a laundry service for them. I also wear a belt that has a cover over the buckle. And I religiously use fender covers to prevent scratches. In the rare event that I get any grease or oil on the painted surfaces I wipe that off with micro fiber towels to further prevent scratches. If a car comes in dirty with road grime they get washed before we do any service work as well.

Supplied uniforms with the belt buckle cover. My main work city was Tucson AZ (hot for much of the year) and any time I could get away with not wearing my uniform shirt I did. If I ever went up on the service drive I certainly put my uniform shirt on.I did have at least two pairs of shoes at work as I did a lot of interior work and wearing my oil change shoes in the car did not go over so well.

I found a link in another post to a place with good prices, but I saved it on my work computer.
I think it may have been:

I was looking at some of the “Red Kap” double knee shop pants. Has anyone tried these?
