Did the fuse have power? You may need to check the back up switch. This van is
new why not take it in to the dealer? There is also a tbc 2b fuse unless this is what
        you checked.

Where is the back up switch located ? Can’t take it to the dealer as I’m the one who blow what ever is blown by trying to hook up a back up alarm and shorted out by grounded lead wire from the reverse socket a stupid mistake from me.

Might start looking for damaged wiring from the socket you shorted.

              best thing don’t panic.
did you see any smoke or noise?
can you remove what you connected ?
if you can’t work it out just take for warranty repair.
tell them reverse stop by lightning strike lol
a little thing like that they should’nt ask too many questions
              good luck

no back up switch involved tcm receives a signal to the bcm when in reverse which grounds the back up lamp relay causing the constant B+ voltage to power threw the fuses. 27 (reverse lights) 26 (back up alarm). First check both fuses…. If good swap the relay….. still no dice check the relay circuit. Pin 87 should have constant battery voltage 85 is your control ground from bcm when reverse is active 86 is constant power and 30 is your circuit to the lights. fuse block is located under passenger compartment.

I’m not sure I can do better than this. I will add this however.

Turns out it was a fuse 10A located under the drivers seat that I didn’t notice before, And I should have worded the question better, I didn’t spice the wire from the socket but the wire going to the socket which was the way I was suppose to do it according to the directions, but all fixed and thank you everyone for your help.
