I have an 91 accord lx with a 2.2. I have noticed that it seems like it is not getting any fuel. i changed main relay due to someone before me taking it apart so i thought it might be bad. after installing the newer one the car still cranks over for long time before i got it started. Is there something in the fuel system that holds the fuel pressure when the car is not running? I will be checking the injectors and I am thinking the fuel pump is going out. Is there a way to check the main relay? I have also noticed that the radio quit working since I have been having this issue. Dont think the 2 are related but just something else i noticed. What else can I check to get the car going again. Thanks in advance for your help.

You can tell if its a fuel problem with starting fluid when the problem presents its self. I have seen distributor on this car cause no start but usually happens as car is warm. You should also check fuel pressure if you suspect it. Good Luck

Is it hard to start, but runs fine once it does? If that’s the case and considering someone was messing with the fuel system, you might want to try bleeding air out of the fuel line. Note: it should fix itself eventually by the air escaping through the injectors.

Thank you for the advice. I will get pressure gauge to see what.kind of pressure I have. At this point with some of the things I have been checking. I found out that the fuel pump was replaced 3-4 months ago. I was able to get car started after cranking on it for a while but, as long as you start the car every couple of hours it starts fine. If you let it sit over 8 hours you have to fight with it to get it started. Goingackto basics going to check for spark while condition is happening as well as check for fuel. Could this also be a computer issue?
