If you meant to say 69 psi that is pretty good.

That seems like goode fuel pressure. Do you have any codes? What are the symptoms?

It’s a little hard to start and when it does start i can’t step on the gas cause it sputters some and when it reaches running temp it will run better but has hesitation to rev up . i check the fuel pressure and it is holding but i thought 69 psi was high but i’m told that’s good. i didn’t see any change in pressure when i unhooked the vacuum hose from the fuel damper regulator . it just stayed at 69 psi . I’m thinking their should have been a change in psi am i right on that ??? thanks.

What codes do you have? How many miles on it? Any service work done on it recently? Has it had a tune-up, and if so were motorcraft plugs used?

I have no codes showing . I cleaned the injectors put in new seals on injectors, new seals on both half’s of intake manifold, new maf, new plugs, and new tps . it will ideal at first start but won’t rev without sputtering and dying out . leave it ideal and warm to operating temp and it will rev up but with hesitation real lazy rev. when it was cold out it was backfiring through the intake . I’m not sure what else to look for . i don’t believe it has a vacuum leak i mean i can’t find one . if anyone has some idea what else i can check please feel free to let me know. thanks

When you go out to it cold, before you start it, check the engine data. What are the readings of the IAT and CTS pids and what is the ambient temp around you?

What method have you used to check for vacuum leaks?

How much output do your coil packs have? Have you checked their ability to jump an air gap?

their are no codes stored . I forgot to mention that I also put on a new ideal control valve to . coil packs are good and I used starting fluid sprayed around all the hoses and i also used propane with no change in engine speed . as for the ambient temp it’s been around 65 degrees now . I’m really at a loss on what to look for that is causing the problem . oh you asked about the mileage it’s at 150,000 miles

I realize there are no codes. I am asking what readings are in the datastream for the IAT and ECT when compared to ambient and the engine is cold? If the ECM sees a problem it throws a code. If it is getting bad readings but believes them to be right it will make bad decisions.
