 I recently replaced the fuel pump assembly, and fuel filter on my 2005 Sunfire. Got everything hooked back up went to start the car and noticed it’s leaking. It’s leaking from one of the plastic lines that connects to a steel line. It only leaks when the engine is running. It seems like the plastic retaining clip that locks on to the steel line is not secure. I’m able to pull it apart without any tools. So here is my question, is there an o-ring that goes onto the steel line? is the retaining clip defective (it’s green in color)? How do I go about fixing this quickly without having to drop everything again? Is there an Dorman quick fix or something that fix it cheaply and quickly?
