I saw your video on checking fuel pressure on a Honda Civic. I have a 91 si. The car ran great one moment and
then would not start the next. It appeared the fuel pump was not putting out, so I changed it. I also changed
the relay and the fuel filter. I am getting spark. In fact is will run for a few seconds on starting fluid. When I
check pressure as shown in your video there is plenty. A question I have here is, if I turn off the key and try
it again–leaving the screw open or even off, there is less and less pressure until no fuel will come out. I
am assuming this is normal—but is it??What does not seem to be happening is for the fuel to actually get to the plugs. I thought maybe it was the
fuel pressure regulator, but I tried one from my 93 civic and it didn’t make it any better. My only thought is that it is losing fuel pressure somewhere along the line. I don’t have an adapter for my
gauge to fit the filter threads. What do you suggest now?:'(
Thank you for your help.
