Hi, I have a 2004 Nissan Sentra 1.8L. It’s always been able to crank, but frequently doesn’t start. If I keep trying, it eventually will start but I wait about 5-10min just for the fact that the car seems to be dying. I did a fuel pressure test and it seems to be quite strong (55psi), also the spark plugs are only 2years old. I’m at a tough point now because I’m too afraid to drive it incase it leaves me stranded. Could someone please help me with my issue?

Have you checked all you ignition coils? do you get sparks on each cylinders?
Have you pulled out the spark plugs and checked them just incase?
Does it start during warmer weather and have the issue more often in cold cranking?
More details are needed.
When did the issue start?
While you are looking at those spark plugs, give those spark plug boots a good going over, cracks in the boot and those wire/springs inside can fail causing problems.
With any no start, you need to determine what’s missing. Just because you have fuel psi, that doesn’t mean it’s getting into the cylinders. There could be a malfunction causing the computer not to command fuel, or an issue with a fuel injector itself. Truth is, it could be a lot of things. I cover the basics in this article.
