freeze plugs went out on 92 acura legend

Not a common problem at all. In fact in 15 years of working on Acura’s, I’ve never seen that. In fact, here’s a break down of the engine block and they don’t even list freeze plugs.

If memory serves, they just have a drain plug for the block that’s sealed by a washer.

Are you sure it’s leaking from the freeze plugs. I think it’s actually more likely to be leaking from the cooler lines that go to the differential. THAT I have seen quite often.

erick you were correct it was not a freeze plug. it ended up being a hose ruptured way under .it was a pain in the butt , but i got it fixed. thanks
